CLEANING YOUR DATABASE
At MMG, we’ll process your mailing list using a minimum of three different processes to get you the best possible postage rate. They are:
1. Cass Certify – This will standardize your list so that all address information is formatted the same, making your list uniform and clean. We can also provide you with reports that show addresses the USPS says are not deliverable so you can attempt to fix them.
2. NCOA – National Change Of Address. This step allows us to find anyone on your list who may have moved in the past 48 months. This helps to ensure that your prospects receive your mail piece and that you’re not wasting postage on recipients who have moved out of your service area.
3. Pre-Sort – We’ll run your cleaned-up database through a USPS program to determine your final postage amount. There are so many different postage rates, it is impossible to determine your final postage cost until all these processes have been completed.
